Welcome to the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Las Vegas Alumnae Chapter (LVAC) website.
It is our intention to provide you with information about our chapter's programs, activities, and support for the Las Vegas community.
The Las Vegas Alumnae Chapter has been providing public service in the Las Vegas community since 1968. This public service has been in the areas of our Five Point Program Thrust: Economic Development, Educational Development, International Awareness and Involvement, Physical and Mental Health, Political Awareness & Involvement.
LVAC supports the theme of our National President, Cynthia M.A. Butler-McIntyre by striving to empower our community through committed service. LVAC has many programs to support this initiative such as the Dr. Betty Shabazz Delta Academy, Delta GEMS, Delta Scholars and the Economic Development program in partnership with the The Salvation Army Pathways ASK Program.
The LVAC signature fundraiser to support our community scholarships is the annual DeltaGanza. This year's DeltaGanza is a Breakfast & Blues Celebration at the House of Blues located in the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino on Saturday, February 28, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. Be sure to check our website for ticket information.
